Central Library Branch of Indianapolis Marion County Libraries

The Central Library Branch is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This project was a new construction that was completed in 2007. Ace Sign Systems, Inc. was the sign contractor working with construction manager Hunt Smoot Construction, environmental design firm RLR and Associates and owner’s representatives of IMCPL. The Central Library is the largest branch of the Indianapolis Marion Co. Libraries. An elaborate sign system was designed to address every area of the library while maintaining consistency with the unique and modern environment. Among the various sign types included in this sign system are;

  • Reflective parking garage wayfinding signs
  • Regulatory parking area signs
  • Dimensional letters labeling both interior and exterior areas
  • Aluminum building directory kiosk
  • Aluminum floor directory cabinet with updateable slats
  • Interior wayfinding signs
  • ADA compliant room identification signs
  • Various informational signs labeling check-outs, emergency exits, accessible entrances, etc.
  • Cafe menu board
